For the emperor, most dialog options you get to tell him to fuck off kick rocks etc. Is like "you're a monster afterall, i never should have trusted an illithid" but honestly by the end of the game i was like "actually i do believe indipendant illithids free of a hivemind have the capacity for emotion including compassion and love, even if its not the same kind i experince, and are therefore worthy of trust and friendship. I just think you specifically are an asshole."
