He thanked all the fans and supporters who helped the Yuzuki Yukari Racing Project get so far in 2017, and promised to work even harder in 2018. But, in spite of that unfortunate accident, project organizer, Takahiro Watanabe, was still incredibly grateful for the chance to race, for their participation attracted a lot of media attention. In short, the first year of life for Yuzuki Yukari Racing was practically overflowing with events and excitement! Granted, it would have been less anticlimactic if the rain hadn’t caused them to crash during the final Super Taikyu race, and have to retire from the race halfway through. After unveiling the Yukari Racing itasha at VOCACON in 2016, the project and its members have competed at the Tsukuba Circuit, participated in the Winter ComiKet of that year, appeared in a Hagane Orchestra video game collaboration, competed again in the Motegi Championship Cup Race, made appearances at the Itasha Heaven, Niconico Cho Kaigi, and Koetsuki events in 2017, participated even more in the Winter and Summer Wonfes, the Summer and Winter ComiKet, and the  events of that year (where they also received their theme song), and finally topped the first year off by competing in the final round of the 2017 Super Taikyu season! Since then, the project has never stopped moving or growing. Fans of Yuzuki Yukari quickly fell in love with this new brand new take on the beloved VOCALOID and VOICEROID character from VOCALOMAKETS and AHS, and helped the project’s first crowdfunding effort on Readyfor reach its ￥2,000,000 JPY goal in just four days, eventually capping it off by raising more than double that amount! She is loosely inspired by the legend of the moon rabbit.The Yuzuki Yukari Racing Project had an absolutely action-packed 2017. According to Vocalomakets member, Kagome-P, she is a cup size A or B. Her age, weight and height were supplied in "ボカロPlus vol.4". Yukari's character art was designed by Japanese artist Jū Ayakura. He went on to explain that because all of their providers are Japanese, they would rather seek English speakers of a similar voice to the Japanese versions from the United States and United Kingdom. In an interview, Tomohide Ogata expressed a desire to produce English versions of their Vocals, however, the project is too complex. In addition, all 3 vocals were announced that they would be released for the " Unity with Vocaloid" version. Yuzuki Yukari also later would have her voice developed into the Vocaloid Keyboard. This update contains three vocals-"natural" ( 純, jun), "soft" ( 穏, on) and "power" ( 凛, lin)-which can be purchased individually or as a complete package. This version was also later updated to Voiceroid+ ex. She was the first AH-Software Vocaloid to also receive a Voiceroid vocal which was also released on December 22, 2011.

She later had a "Neo" version of the software released for the Mac. The English title is "She unites you all with her voice." The concept for Yukari is "People who are related to the VOCALOID connect the sounds/moon to one another," (VOCALOIDに縁のある人達が音（月）を結ぶ). She is based on the voice of Chihiro Ishiguro. A Japanese female released for the Vocaloid 3 engine by AH-Software on December 22, 2011.

Yuzuki Yukari Racing Updates! 

Yuzuki Yukari Racing Project is going full steam as the team tries to increase popularity and hype! Above, you can see a sneak peek of the project’s “Yuzuki Yukari Racing Car.” These pics were posted on the official Twitter page with the caption: “We have entered production of the Yukari Racing Car!”

The car will be debuted at this year’s Itasha Heaven event on March 26th! It’s also been confirmed that the team will make an appearance at Niconico Cho Kaigi 2017 that will take place on April 29th and 30th! And, of course, the project will make an appearance at the special Yuzuki Yukari doujin fest “Kono Koe Todoke, Tsuki☽ Made Mo” which is expected to take place on May 4th.

Yuzuki Yukari Racing Crowdfunding Has Concluded! 

As of January 10th, the Yuzuki Yukari Racing Project “Ready For?” crowdfunding project has wrapped up! To thank the fans for their generous donations, project organizer Takahiro Watanabe had this to say: 

Our crowdfunding campaign has been going on since last year, and it now comes to a close today. Thanks to everyone’s generous support, we’ve raised a grand total of ¥4,209,000 JPY in donations from an amazing 266 different donors, far exceeding what any of us on the team could have ever predicted. Thank you all so much for your warm wishes and incredible support. With this funding, we can now enter at least one race in the upcoming Super Taikyu, and aim to enter more depending on how well sales of the Racing Yukari merchandise go. Furthermore, we are currently preparing all the donor rewards and will ship them out as early as possible. We will continue to update this page, as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages, with reports of our future efforts, and would be overjoyed with your ongoing support.

Watanabe also uploaded a video onto his Niconico channel (with Yukari’s Vocaloid voice doing the talking) discussing the details of the campaign. The main points are: 

The team had a bit of a hard time finding where their assigned exhibition stage for the Yuzuki Yukari itasha would be located at the Tsumagoi resort. But they got there eventually, and MazodoraP was able to unveil the itasha that they will soon be racing in! The unveiling attracted tons of spectators, even those who weren’t previously interested in racing! 

The Yuzuki Yukari itasha will be a Honda Fit GE8, with a sticker scheme and paint job designed by Suke-san. The front hood and side doors of the vehicle will sport the official Racing Yukari main visual art...

Yoshiyuki Tsuruga (aka CircuitP) raced for the Yuzuki Yukari Racing Team in his “Yuzuki Yukari ZAP 10V ED” Formula 1 race car last year during the Super-FJ Regional Championship Series.
