“Phantasmagoria”

Knowing how fast fanartists work, I know I might not be the first to draw this, but here’s all 3 final bosses from the pvp Touhou games! It’s funny when you realize Yumemi’s the only human here lol

To everyone across the sea, how are you doing?
Thanks to the medication I told you about the other day, my mind is finally at peace and I have the energy to paint Yumemi Okazaki, so I finished the picture.
The stress from my mother in the house is as strong as ever, but my mood swings have calmed down, so I am enjoying Pal World and have finished the painting, although it took a while.
Now that I finally caught Jetlang, I think I will be able to make progress in Pal World from here on out.
To tell the truth, I haven't been able to play against the two knights of the desert yet, so I'm looking forward to doing so.
I'm currently working on careful selection of individual hatchlings, so in the meantime, I'm going to draw Chiyuri, Yumemi's partner.

regular touhou #47: i feel like when people talk about yumemi they don't bring up how incredibly ready she was to destroy the world over a pretty minor inconvenience

Yumemi deserved so much better.
My girl was a college professor at age 18, made a sentient nuclear bomb and maid robot, tried to prove magic was real and got shunned from society because of it even though she was 100% correct.
And because she was born in the PC 98 era after she went back to gensokyo she was never seen or heard from again. 😞

Fantasy Seal- some more major characters
-Yumemi Okazaki and Chiyuri Kitashirakawa are their real selves, and in their search for “magic” ended up in the alternate timeline of Fantasy Seal, with themselves in the material world and their Probability Space Hypervessel in the immaterial world. While they try to figure out where the magic they detected is hidden in this seemingly normal society, they use their rudimentary artificial magic to make a life for themselves. Yumemi works as a professor at the university, while Chiyuri is her TA.
-Rinnosuke’s abilities are equal and opposite to the canon: he often happens into physical manifestations of objects from Gensokyo, and is able to tell what they’re called and what they’re for. He keeps them in his shop to sell to possessed youkai who come looking for them-- in this respect, he’s actually a bit of an underground celebrity, someone who all the “fully-realized” people know and come to for information.
-Rinnosuke tries to maintain neutrality (or at least, the appearance of neutrality) at all times. He wants no part of “youkai extermination” and tries to keep to himself when conflicts arise. His only major life goals are to curate his collection and spend time with Laika, nothing more.
-Alice is Marisa’s childhood friend, who was gravely injured in a car accident and has been comatose for 2 years. As everyone who knew her lost hope that she would ever reawaken, her conscious mind has passed into the realm of fantasy, despite the fact that she’s still alive. As a “ghost” of sorts, she befriended Patchouli Knowledge (possessing a cancer patient in the hospital) and began practicing magic with her dolls, using them as a tether to the material world.
-Alice’s dolls can act as conduits for spirits and youkai, an easier task compared to finding human hosts to possess (which makes them attractive to fairies and less-powerful youkai).
