I understand wanting to boycott things for the benefit of the general public but a lot of yall don’t understand that that’s not actually how it works 99% of the time

#pimptalks #we are a capitalist society and capitalism is not built to fail by any means #you can’t boycott a few products bc whatever brand you buy in substitution is more than likely owned by the parent company #to the brand you’re trying to boycott #not even employee strikes have been working #after the most recent big employee strike companies started telling people to not come to work #or even just firing them #the last time anything like that worked America was a British colony #it’s unfortunate but it’s true absolutely none of this was built to change or to help people #unless something absolutely insane happens
