Ok so update on what happened. Apparently Miss Bitch aka assistant manager just 100% walked out of her shift leaving behind 3 ppl who didn't know how to make drinks. & the manager came in as fast as he could but it still took a half hour & ppl were Piiiissed at him & apparently the employees left too (tho one came back, she had an emergency call apparently). I feel kinda bad I ignored his message for help bc it sounds like it was an absolutely Awful time.
Caught between sympathy for the manager (he keeps having to give up his days off...) & some amount of uh . Idk, not Happy it happened, but I feel a lil vindicated. Like miss bitch is sooooo nice 🙄 until she's not. & fucking over 4 separate ppl bc of her own feelings seems about par for the course.
#speculation nation#like im not saying she was wrong Exactly for walking out#bc like ykno power to the people & what have you. at will employment is a thing & so it's absolutely her right to do so#but a: i have never once genuinely contemplated walking out mid-shift bc i dont wanna leave others to deal with that bs#ykno. basic fuckin sympathy for others.#& b: she is literally the Assistant Manager. after everything went down i felt she was Way too prone to Emotional Reactions#to a degree that just doesnt befit someone of that station.#like when she fucking Screamed at me in front of the employees did i walk out?? no!!!#i cried in storage for half an hour b4 finally pulling myself together enough to finish my shift#bc i knew if i left i'd be screwing everyone else over#and say what you will about ykno Fuck The Managers or whatever but like. as someone who's got one foot on that side of things#at least for Us. our manager is trying his goddamn best. he sacrifices so much of his time & effort to make sure the store keeps running#honestly i rly hope he gets paid Well for essentially being the on-call emergency shift person lmao#he cant anticipate everything that happens & he genuinely tries to keep us & our wishes at heart#our Boss on the other hand i wouldnt completely defend lol. bc he's got too high of expectations for us#but if he's around when things r going to shit he's been known to step in to help. so there's that at least.#just. yeah. if she's genuinely gone then good riddance lmao#....... it also means the way to a higher position is waiting Riiiiight for me#which i mean my vindication at all this is 100% latent anger at her blowing up at me then never apologizing#but i'd be lying if i wasnt also eager for better pay & whatever of a higher position#yea yea bigger responsibilities and whatever. ive already gotten a taste of it tho so like. i figure i could handle it.#and i reaaaally wanna have more money lol#anyways i gotta go to sleep soon bc im covering her shift in the morning (🙄🙄🙄) so lol ramble done

The initial response seemed fine if a little passive aggressive (which, sure, nobody is *happy* to hear about neglected animals) but they went on to host anons about how the kid is faking did, how theyre scum, basically just taking someone who wanted help and dragging them through the mud - the kid also has no actual control over their situation which is something lost on that blog entirely. When given some criticism, they got soooo offended. Im glad someone else agrees that they handled the situation poorly.
my biggest gripe w the situation. other than ykno the rabbit blog opened up a 16 y/o to harassment from the hoardes of tumblr (usin tht ironically) is that. like the accussation ae faked a DID episode to garner sympathy abt the situation? like if anything that made it all Worse bc ppl were calling aer a sysfaker etc and being ableist towards aer. and i KNOW that stressful situations like. ykno. a buncha mostly older ppl attacking u 4 how u treat ur pet (which i am NOT defending, neglecting ur animals is never right and genuinely if u cant keep ur bunny in a hutch separate from the chickens then PLEASE surrender them. that is putting both animals in danger. im iffy abt the whole matts thing bc some animals no matter how much u brush them they will get matted. my dog has long fur nd we brush him thoroughly twice a day but he still gets matted esp on his legs and his chest) is gotta stress u out and when u have DID sometimes.. ur alters switch out... or u get a new one... when ur stressed.... who fuckin knew........
also the whole "theres no excuse ive been taking perfect care of my rabbits by myself since i was 12" thing is also. kinda cringe bro like its great u had the opportunity 2 so tht but not everyone can fuckin do that. Yea aer bunny shld be surrendered bc ae cant fully take care of it but That Doesnt Mean Ae Are Purposefully Neglecting Aer Bunny Or That Ae Have The Means To Support It.
