can’t stop thinking about how Turner just wants to spend his normal, magic-free life looking out for people but keeps getting dragged into the trouble of a sarcastic, thorn-in-his-side occult punk who feels no remorse about her multiple felonies, only to (surprise!) want to protect and look out for her too
it’s just like
older brother/little sister. lawful good/chaotic neutral. the “I know you can kill a man (I know that you have killed a man) but I still worry about you” feeling. the “don’t call me for help” threat and the “when you call me for help I’ll drop whatever I’m doing” fulfillment. the I-don’t-want-to-see-you-scared, I-wish-you-would-sleep-more, don’t-put-yourself-in-danger dynamic. the we’re-both-murderers-who-want-to-protect-the-weak fellowship.
