the original context for that (from my tragically abandoned quinn-centric nanowrimo project) was that quinn's Favourite Cousin Masha, Lesbian Thief Icon, runs a cafe with her cool wife anaïs (which was not INTENDED to become, like, a Hitter Hangout, but they have really good security and masha has infinite hitter cousins and the butcher of kiev will NOT stop popping by with his kid to have daddy-daughter lifechats over lemon meringue pie, Hitter Hangout is just kinda the Vibe now. theyre working with it)

anaïs thinks quinn is cute in a wet stray cat kind of way and force-feeds him any experimental pastries she is working on. sometimes they are bad. there is an olive-pear tarte he will never forgive her for (but he gets free tea THE WAY HE LIKES IT & also cherry-cheese danishes every time he pops by so like, win-win). she is the gentle head-patter and pastry-giver pat pat pat. masha ur weird little guy is here, pspspsps hey u wanna try this mystery dessert so bad cmere,
