Ok, hear me out: "Say No to This" from Hamilton, but about Utah and Nevada
Hamilton being Utah, and Maria Reynolds as, of course, Nevada
Except James Reynolds would also be Nevada, because Nevada's a little gender-transcendent con artist and they're just taking advantage of Utah for money
But! I have more thoughts!
The line, like, "she looks so helpless"? In Hamilton it's a reference to Eliza, of course, but let's ignore that. I think Nevada, in this random AU I created based on this song, takes advantage of Utah's good nature. Utah's a compulsive caretaker, so to make Utah stay, Nevada pretends to be in pain and it works, guys, it works so well
Burr in the beginning there? Colorado. I don't have an explanation for that one Idk

Thanks! While the stories aren't abandoned, currently I am rethinking where the plot is gonna go, especially with Love Lost.
Ultimately, I draw first, write second so it doesn't come as naturally. Nice to see people like it still.

pls go into details about gov lowkey being a pimp i.e. my gov x nevada post bc I'm intrigued 👀
Oooo ok so just a forewarning, there will be mentions or implications of prostitution and non-con. I promise to keep it as tame as possible, but this is just a little headcanon I have, sometimes separate from my own view of wttt, depending on what I wanna write or draw.
So for the most part, I think Nevada loves showbusiness! I think he adores the spotlight and enjoys entertaining people.
But ever since "Nevada Joins the Table," Gov saying he "owns about 80% of the state of Nevada," had been bouncing around in my head.
And it kept bouncing around like that until it struck a braincell and "Oh my god Gov has a lot of control over Nevada what if he has control over Nevada's career?" Like most of the stuff he ends up doing is up to Gov.
And then I was like ok let's take this a little step further what if Gov...uh, for lack of a better term, pimps him out to like important people hmmm. And he makes him perform for people Nevada hates in places he would never have chosen and Nevada can't do anything about it bc Gov just has so much power over him.
Now I believe someone actually wrote a fanfic similar to this idea, where Gov does, ahem, stuff to Nevada, who would rather be anywhere else.
Anyways so now entertainment has no joy for Nevada, bc it's full of horrible people and he gets none of the same thrill doing the things he used to.
Mmmm, that's all I have for now, but uh, that's sort of what I meant when I said Gov is low-key a pimp.
And HEY uh if you ship Gov and Nevada without the angsty stuff like that then good on ya! I love that! These are just little ideas I have when the DVD logo hits the corner of the screen in my tiny pea brain!!
