More detail! This is the face of Anxiety. When I finally got to see a doctor for the first time I was diagnosed with a panic disorder. It was by a social worker IIRC. They prescribed Xanax which really didn't do anything but make me sleepy. I was still having panic attacks and a pervasive anxiety so bad that I had to stop going to college. I had no idea at the time, but I was also floridly psychotic. No one had picked up on that yet because I was keeping my paranoid thoughts to myself, and my thinking wasn't as disorganized as it later became. I still have an anxiety disorder, but panic attacks are much less frequent. It's mostly social phobia, mild agoraphobia (compared to the agoraphobia that my mom had/has (?) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). I hate it. It limits everything I want to do. Mixed in with the paranoia from my schizophrenia it's really hard to deal with, to untangle the anxiety from the paranoia. Anyway, still working on this painting.
