ok but what if artemis chose the name artemis after he got out of hell and started on his rampage not because he was being spiteful to the gods.... though he will very much say that's probably the reason... but rather because his memories were warped and his mind and body literally melted and twisted into something else so violently different (demon yk yk) and so, he literally just....can't remember why he liked the name artemis.... he just did... he just. chose it. for "no reason". maybe!! maybe artemis was one of the very few gods he actually LIKED and so, the name stuck out in his frayed and wrecked mind. more on that line of thinking.... maybe he doesn't even remember his own daughter, Hedone (daughter between eros and psyche!)

Mostly.#And in so thinking this way... it'd be fair to assume that even Artemis -- who used to be a god-- upon being warped and literally broken do #down* both physically and mentally into a LITERAL 'tarry pit of despair'... i think its fair to say that maybe he did lose some memories #id consider hell and being forced through so much trauma (even if that hell is mostly your own mind) to be scarring enough that the mind #would repress a lot. or memories might get shattered or buried or warped themselves #id be like 'god only knows the true state of his mind upon getting out of hell'' but he literally went insane and preyed on innocent humans #manipulated them into falling in love with him as a game and then killed them when he succeeded -then stole their bones/soul! soooo #HYUJGF I MEAN HES MELLOW NOW... hes come back to his senses like 99.80% BUT YK....#feelings and thoughts..... got me some feelings and thoughts tonight lads
