really can't be overstated just how much the physicality that wolf 359 is written and performed with adds to the feel of it. there is so much written into those scripts that absolutely cannot be represented in an audio-only format, but it's in there and it's performed with those details and that stage direction in mind and so much of it manages to come through. a combination of that and the sound design and the way it uses audio cues like a visual medium might creates something intangibly tangible in the way the characters occupy and interact with and share the space they're in. most visual show ever to be a podcast.

Side Characters and Affection
I personally believe these characters deserve proper recognition and I am doing my best to provide it here
Heat: He's less about words and more about action. His way of saying "I love you" is probably holding a few of your fingers and giving them a little squeeze, or locking pinkies with you. Subtle little notes of affection only the two of you can understand. Of course, he's much more grandiose with his physical affection when it's just you and him. He likes holding you to him and just talking about random things that make no sense.
Wire: Though he's a bit stoic in his general appearance, Wire is very shy when it comes to love. He doesn't refuse you or your affection, but he has a great big blush every time you give it to him. Wire does his best to express his love for you, but it can be a little hard to get the communication clear. He's definitely a catch, all you need is patience.
Hildon: Without a doubt, this bat fellow will treat you right. A major fan of PSA (Public Show of Affection), he's there to hols hands with you whenever you need him. His favorite show of affection is touching foreheads. He finds it endearing and genuine. Make sure you don't give him too much at one time, though. It may give him an overload.
Shyarly: Shyarly is most definitely a sweet-talker. She makes it a mission to fluster you as she whispers new ways of saying "I love you" into your ear. She likes being a big spoon, but she won't refuse a hug from behind. Because of her size, she ensures that she's gentle when giving you affection.
Fukaboshi: Being a prince, Fukaboshi was raised to be devoted and respectful to his partners. He's a big fan of cuddling, but all he really wants is to spend time with you. Even if it's just giving each other a smile, small bouts of affection in your togetherness will go a long way.
Duece: Although he's a bit anxious when it comes to PSA, Duece is very fond of tender moments behind closed doors. Peppering you with kisses is his favorite pastime, and he enjoys laying his head against your chest when the both of you cuddle. As long as you let him know it's okay to let loose sometimes, you'll have a very faithful partner indeed.
Wanda: Though she acts serious for the sake of her work, it's obvious that she's very open about her affection. She likes to listen to you, and doesn't mind holding you in her arms when you need it. Wanda's favorite kind of affection is giving you kisses when nobody is looking. She just wants to let you know how much she loves you, whether it be through a kiss or just telling you herself.
Bepo: Bepo's very sensitive, and he cares a lot about what you think. He's a very affectionate person, prone to hugging and physical contact even subconsciously. He needs attention from time to time, as he's self-conscious and might read too much into things.
If I think up any more underappreciated side characters, I'll do more of this! Hell, if you all can think of any, send em in!
