I’ve noticed that you’ve used the word ‘scented’ and ‘marked’ when referring to Loki. Idk if it’s just me but, I really wanna you go deeper into this topic, if you don’t mind ofc. Love you and your writing 🫶🏻

For Loki's species, it's common for them to rub their scent on their lovers/mates, to warn or let other creatures know that you're taken. They also do this to 'claim' you, which also usually includes biting you (but in Loki's case, he doesn't have a mouth so he has no choice but to scent you instead.)
Other times, his species would scent their lovers/mates to assert their dominance over them, letting them know that they belong to them. If their lover/mate is feeling scared, then they would also rub their scent on them to comfort them.
Some parts of his species are territorial, and have the "what's yours is also mine" mindset, so they would rub their scent on your bedsheets and clothes. In extreme cases, they will scent your whole entire room and all your belongings.
Usually, creatures can smell this scent, but human can smell it too (it's really rare for humans, though).
