Today marks the kick off of the demo phase for one our next projects - a Golden Valley kitchen remodel. It's been in the works for months and this week you'll see us gut the 1958 space to ready for new @subzeroandwolf appliances, new @wilsonartcountertops new @jeffreycourttile and new @schaubandcompany hardware. We spent a lot of time together doing projects around the house and the idea of building is so healing for me. The Golden Valley kitchen is so much like the kitchen I grew up in. Even the color of the cabinetry is similar. I'll post some befores later today in our stories. // This shot was from the first North American #passivehouses I worked on. This was a guest bath and the #marmoleum @forboflooringsystems were heated only in the coldest months out of the year. In a home that requires no boiler or furnace, that's remarkable in our extremely cold climate. Circle back to my Dad who was one of the early adopters of solar energy in the 70s.
