1. what’s their full name?

it’s verlaine noêmia vicente!

2. what does their name mean? why were they named that?

verlaine doesn’t have a set meaning per say, but it has it’s origins based on a french poet! commonly used as a feminine name it’s also has it’s usage as a name in portuguese and spanish! noêmia is the portuguese-brazilian variation of naomi meaning “pleasantness!” vicente is derived from the given name vicente which is the spanish and portuguese form of vincent, which also has it’s origins in the roman name vincentius meaning “to conquer” in latin!

i was browsing what to name her and as if the stars aligned KNEW that verlaine when i saw it was the perfect name! it took me quite a while to think of names that would be fitting for her so it was a relief to find them when I did! the golden rose was one of my first ifs I read after I was introduced in 2020 and so that demo and this if hold such a special place in my heart! I knew I needed the perfect name for her u know? (her middle name is so right she IS pleasant 🤍😌)

3. do they have any nicknames?

other than raf calling her darling or love, her mother as a child used to call her peony for the blooms in her families garden that just so happen to be her favorite flower as well!

4. how old are they?

she is 23 years old!

5. when’s their birthday?

her birthday is may 29th!

6. what’s their zodiac sign/element/birthstone/etc.? do they believe that holds any significance?

her zodiac is gemini sun, sagittarius moon, and leo rising! as her zodiac is an air sign, her element would be air! and since she was born in may, her birthstone would be an emerald! fitting her birthstone is the symbol of truth and love! her patron goddess being aphrodite? her finding beauty in love and her search for truth... so fitting for her i think!

AND YOU CAN BET SHE SURE BELIEVES THEY DO! her love for spirituality and the metaphysical, her trust in her patron and the forbidden gods, she holds these dear to her! and finds comfort that understanding herself and how she perceives the world/how the world perceives her lies in the stars!

7. what’s their species/subspecies? do they have any special/magical abilities?

she’s human! but perhaps her dreams of the past, unusual connection to the ancient forbidden gods and this nero sort, could count as a special ability?

8. what “class” do they belong to (for fantasy characters)? if none, what weapon do they favor?

she does not have a “set class” but if i had to give her one, she would best fit a rogue for sure! she prefers daggers! collects ornate and ceremonial daggers in fact! (but does use a special commissioned set that belonged to her grandmother)
