I have the most autistic idea of an AU Coffin crossover with Youjo Senki.

Andrew joining the army cause he knows he'll get drafted anyway and he can make sure his sister doesn't get drafted for being a mage.

Unfortunately, he's not stupid enough to fail Tanya's interview test, recognizing that it's an illusion.

He'd be so deadly and dispassionate about murderizing enemy soldiers, but he can mask better than Tanya and pretend to be normal around his comrades...mostly.

He talks about his sister, he talks about her a LOT, Grantz is the only one who doesn't think it's weird...but then the war drags on and Ashley shows up as a new recruit and he's like "...yeah, they're weird 😫😔"

Turns out that Momma Graves fled their small city as it was being bombed, leaving Ashley to fend for herself, afterwards, she figured she might as well join Andrew, even if he "abandoned" her.

The boys of the 203rd are 😬 about the Graves, it's just that they're a little 😬 about sweet Visha and they commander too, sometimes.

When you have to trust your back to survive, you learn to live with your comrades' eccentricities.
