I think I just found this whole mini series’ reason for existing#while I do believe the question of Khonshu’s “realness” has been addressed before#with answers ranging from “not very” to West Coast Avengers’ “He’s actively possessing Marc as we speak”#this is the first time I think they really leaned into the possibility that Marc made Khonshu up himself#especially as this point is addressed later it really brings up the question of#how much of Moon Knight is Marc’s own willpower/fortitude/(DID?) and how much of it is supernatural#that and the definition of insanity (I know I’m thinking the Far Cry 3 monologue too)#some (occasionally edgy teens) would argue having faith in a higher power is insane/illogical period#but yeah#I also just think that first panel looks cool
