if i had a penny for every time a friend of mine literally couldn’t go to the doctor unless i drive them because their parents are assholes i’d have two pennies which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice

#this anecdote can fit so many problems #lack of public transportations #patients being sent all over the place unless they want to wait months for a visit #which in the grand scheme of healthcare isnt that big of a deal but paired with the first one maybe #and people being pricks of course #parents are in the equation because here theyre culturally expected to look after their children even after they reach adulthood #but in one case said friend wasnt even an adult soooo
