there’s literally no other show on television or off that could ever deal me more physic damage than neighbours did when i realized that the only time paul ever truly lost his shit at elle was when she poisoned izzy the same way terry killed herself.

#i think this is SUCH an important storyline for elle #because it tells you EXACTLY what kind of person she is #and it also gives us an important facet of elle's personality #which is that she always takes what she thinks will be the path of least resistance (manipulation) but always feels bad about it after #it cements her as someone who is not above manipulating people's mental illnesses for her own gain #because she will go on to do the same thing to carmella (stopping short of actually drugging her but trying to intentionally trigger #a relapse and succeeding)#and lucas #where she actually does send him into a casino knowing damn well about his addiciton #daddy's favorite little sociopath <3 #what elle could never have anticipated is that paul has empathy for izzy and her addiction #he would never leave her for relapsing even if that was what had happened and it wasnt elle fucking with her #he doesnt see addiction as fair game the same way elle does because there are times he could have #used terese and glenn's addictions against them if he really wanted #but he doesn't. he even encouraged leo not to fire glen over his alcoholism #and he was desperate to be there for terese when she relapsed.#and actively stopped pursuing her when she did #this show literally makes me *honking noises* *dolphin sounds* *screaming*#neighbourspost #suicide mention
