I think it's very important to be able to laugh when watching fantasy shows
#main characters#finally watcged that witcher blood origins netflix series#rather enjoyed it but defo key to my enjoyment was being able to have a liddol giggle#at all of them in their elf ear prosthetics#and their white blond wigs#n how theyre all dressed like (u know what i mean)#when contrasted to reality theres always always a risk of fantasy coming off a bit silly but that doesnt have to take away#from a somewhat dark story#its more fun to watch of ur having fun watching it n I think thats where a lot of fantasy non enjoyers fall down#they arent ready for it to look like a high budget LARP n so that distracts them so they cant fully enjoy#anyway all this to say maybe i need to get back to reading the witcher books#i over saturated myself by playing all 3 games watching all netflix content + the hexer and tryna read the books#so about half way through i think blood of elves(?) i needed a break#but this blood origin series has kinda whetted my appetite maybe its time to reignite the witcher fixation
