Happy Birthday Lisa
/CW/ Alcohol Consumption
Jaebeom cleared a path to the private area on the second floor of the club while Changkyun followed close behind to make sure the girls didn't get lost in the crowd. Of course with it being Lisa's birthday, Minji made sure everyone knew what they were celebrating.
Lisa gasped as they entered the area reserved for them. It was as bright and colorful as she was. "Minji, I love it!" she squealed and hugged the older woman. Dancing in a small circle, she clapped her hands and laughed. "Where is the bar?"
"I'm sure we passed it on the way in," Mina said while she looked down over the railing and onto the dance floor. She spotted a few of their friends that were invited and waved. "I'm going to go dance. Anyone coming?" As soon as the words left her mouth, Lisa took her hand and dragged her back down to the dancefloor.
"I.M," Jaebeom said, "Keep an eye on them until Jungkook gets here." Changkyun nodded and followed his sister and friend into the crowd. "You know you don't have to go things like this for every birthday, right? Don't you get tired of it?" he questioned Minji.
"Not at all," she smiled. "I love seeing the excitement and happiness on their faces. It's perfect." Leaning back on the plush sofa, she wiggled her feet. She hated wearing heels that high.
"You're going to make someone very lucky one day," Jaebeom said. "Why are you even still with us? You don't belong here." Before she could answer, a waitress appeared with a tray of drinks. Jaebeom thanked her and sipped the whiskey. Minji on the other hand, frowned a little when she was handed a jack and ginger ale.
"We didn't order these," Minji said, slightly confused. Sure, a drink at a club wasn't unusual but, that specific drink was. The waitress shook her head and informed her that they were ordered by a friend before she turned and left.
Just below them, Lisa had found a few friendly faces and was enjoying the music. She was close enough to the speakers that it was a little hard to hear anything else but feeling the beat of the music was worth it.
"Happy birthday, littlest one," Jungkook said into Lisa's ear. She spun and hugged him before waving to Hyunjin. "Come on, dance with me." He pulled her away from the speakers and closer to the middle of the floor with Hyunjin right behind them.
Mina and Changkyun had abandoned the dance floor and sat at the bar. Being the caring brother he was, Changkyun made sure to keep the drinks filled and their friends happy.
The hours flew by before everyone made their way back to the private area. Minji had made sure the cake and decorations were set for when the birthday girl was ready.
Hyunjin and Mina made a quick round of the club and gathered all their friends. As they filed into the area, Changkyun handed them glasses of champagne.
"Everyone," Jaebeom said loudly. "Before we get back to our night of fun, don't forget why we're here!" He turned to smile at Lisa. "Happy birthday to my little sister and biggest pain in the ass." Everyone raised their glasses and cheered.
"Guys! Stop," Lisa said as she covered her face. "Thank you so much for being here." Her eyes searched the crowd and she blushed when they locked with one person in particular. "It really means a lot to have you here." Through she meant the last part to everyone, she hoped that one person knew it was more for them than anyone else.

Update: Hyunjin
Happy Birthday Jinnie
Hyunjin work up that morning alone and a bit confused. Typically on a day like today he was woken up with breakfast. But not this time. He dressed and slowly padded down the hall to the kitchen. The smell of bacon and something sweet filled the house.
"Is this where everyone is?" Hyunjin asked the nearly vacant room. Changkyun looked up from his plate and nodded a greeting. "Guess not," he mumbled.
"I think the girls went shopping. Mina has a date and Minji is helping her," Changkyun informed him. Honestly, Lisa is probably just spending money. Why? Do you need something?" Hyunjin frowned and shook his head.
"No. Just curious is all," disappointment laced his voice. It was his birthday after all. Maybe with the mo e everyone forgot. Most everyone had someone special in their life and he wasn't mad but it hurt that Minji wasn't around. His Minzy forgot his birthday. She never forgot but with this new guy that's got her head in the clouds he wasn't surprised.
Grabbing his phone the dialed his new punk princess's number. Before it rang he hung up quickly. Last thing he wanted was to sound pathetic. So he spent the rest od the day moping around the empty house.
Sometime early afternoon he gave up and laid on his bed. Maybe just sleeping off the rest of the day was an option. Not like he had any plans anyways.
"Guys, be quiet," Minji scolded everyone. "If he hears you then he will come find out what the noise it!" She placed an armful of bags on the kitchen island and sighed.
"TY, I need you to get the boys and decorate, ok. Can you do that?" Waving over her shoulder she struggled to get Lisa's attention. "Hey. Hey. Bring the cake in but be careful. Don't drop it." Scanning the room her eyes landed on Mina. "Honey! Did you text that sweet girl? I know she'd want to be here." Mina responded with a nod but never looked up from her phone. "I.M. did he have any clue?" Changkyun laughed.
"Hyunjin? Have a clue? Not a chance," he shook his head. "Poor kid hasn't left his room because he thinks you forgot."
Minji was happy her plan was working but still a bit heartbroken to think Hyunjin feels forgotten. She was more determined to make this perfect. Mom Minji took over and made sure everyone was busy. Knowing Hyunjin, his nap would be over soon.
Rolling over, Hyunjin rubbed his eyes and looked at the clock. 'Guess sleeping all day didn't work' he thought to himself. He swung his door open, only to be greeted by balloons with arrows on them. His heart began to swell when he realized his friends didn't forget about him. He followed the balloons and soon walked onto the large room JB designated for entertaining.
Shouts and cheers of happy birthday erupted. Hyunjin's eyes filled with happy tears as he looked around and saw everyone he cared about celebrating him.
"Happy birthday, Jinnie," Minji said, pulling him into a hug. "Did you really think I could forget about you?" A light blush painted his cheeks.
"I didn't see younfor breakfast as usual," he admitted. "I thought you did."
"Never. I'll always make sure my loved ones have the best birthdays ever," the older woman promised.
"Thank you, noona. You're the best," the birthday boy said. "Now where is my cake?"

Happy Birthday Mina
Minji looked around the arcade and sighed heavily. She checked her watch and frowned a little more.
"Keep that up and you'll get wrinkles on that pretty face of yours," Taeyong said wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "Then what would we tell your mystery man? What's got you all pouty anyway?" He tried to follow her line of sight to figure out what had her worked up this time.
"Have you seen Mina? I mean this is about her today," Minjin said rubbing her face. "I swear she'll be late to her own funeral one day." Taeyong laughed at her frustration and tried to assure her everything was OK.
"Mina is always late. You know that and so does everyone else," he swept his arm out are the room filled with friends having a good time. "Look, everyone is having fun. Don't worry."
As soon as he finished his statement, Changkyun tugged on Minji's arm.
"First, don't freak out," he told her cautiously, "Mina is leaving the hospital right now. She was visiting a friend."
"Then she'll be here soon? Ok," Minji sighed, a bit relieved.
"Just maybe not in a party mood," Taeyong added as he shrugged and walked away.
A sudden cheer and cries of happy birthday drew everyone's attention to the entrance. Mina stood there with Hyunjin, her eyes bright with excitement. She made her rounds to thank everyone for showing up.
Lisa and Jungkook were wrapped up in some dance machine. Jungkook was determined to not lose to a girl in heels. JB stood off on the side with a few of their new friends. Hyunjin had found Taeyong and the two were currently devouring a pizza. To no one's surprise Changkyun was sulking in the corner. Something about Lisa making fun of his dancing upset him. Of course Minji was making sure everyone was having fun. The only one unaccounted for was Hongjoong.
No doubt it had to be important to miss his little penguin's birthday.
"Minzy," Mina squealed when she saw her friend. "How do you always out do yourself every year?"
"Because I love you guys more each day that does by," the older girl laughed. "Now go on. I think I see your new friend over there by the cake."

Update: Taeyong
"Minji!" Taeyong wailed down the hall from the practice room. Turning the corner quickly, he slammed into the wall nearly knocking the painting to the ground.
The sound of her name being called nearly startled Minji from her chair. Her stomach plunged to her toes when she realized where it was coming from. It was only a matter of time before someone hurt themselves during practice.
"Minji," the man cried again as he rushed into his friend's office. "Help. Please help me." The desperation in his voice was obvious. Minji jumped to her feet and grabbed his arm, pushing him to the chair.
"What happened? Are you hurt?" she asked turning his face in her hands. "I don't see any blood on you. Did something break?" Shaking his head, Taeyong giggled at the concerned expression on her face.
"What? No," he chuckled and rubbed his neck. "I need help planning something for, um, a friend." Minji saw red and punched him in the chest. "Hey," he sputtered. "That hurt. Good throw, though." Rolling her eyes, she perched on the edge of her desk.
"Is it the guy you got that plushie for? What's his name?" her eyes sparkled with curiousness. She gently nudged his knee and laughed. "Tell me about him. I need to know everything about this guy that caught your eye." A smile formed on her lips when she saw the shy way Taeyong smiled and reddened.
"H-His name is Yeosang," he said, finding his fingers fascinating. "He's great. Caring and sweet. It's real easy to talk to him." The blush on his cheeks deepened. "His smile is- it's nice. He's an complete angel." Minji laughed and cupped his face.
"You're crazy about him," she giggled. "Come on. We will figure something out to impress him." Sliding her laptop across the desk, she turned it towards him and began to search for the perfect activities for Taeyong to take Yeosang to do.
"Hey, Minji," he said just above a whisper. "Do you think this is a good idea? Someone like him and, well, someone like me?" Almost as if the wind was knocked from her, Minji gasped.
"A guy like you? What do you mean?" she asked closing her laptop. "A clever, witty, and devoted guy. Someone that would drive all night to bring ice cream to a friend after a breakup? How about someone that puts the ones he cares about before himself?" Sliding off of her desk, she knelt before him. "Lee Taeyong, you are such a great person. Anyone would be lucky to be loved by you. And if he doesn't see that, I guess I'll have to kick his butt." Punctuating the statement with a nod, she wrinkled her nose and laughed. "Besides, who wouldn't love this face?"
"Easy tiger," he laughs. "Just help me find the perfect place to take him."

Update: Minji
The song Minji had been humming could be heard throughout the whole house. Something had made her so happy that day she wasn't able to contain herself. "Maybe just one more right there," she said softly to herself as she arranged the fresh flowers in the vase on her desk. The same way she did in the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room, the hallway, the window ledge and her bedroom dresser and nightstand.
"What's gotten into you? You sound like a Disney princess," Taeyong teased from her office door. "Where did all of these flowers come from?" The man leaned against the door frame and examined the neat office. "It looks nice in here. Bright and cheerful. Very you." Minji only continued with the flowers and smiled. "Minzy," he sang, "You have to tell me." Pouting his lips he made sad puppy sounds, knowing she would give in.
"Do you remember the notes I've been getting?" She said behind a smile. "Welln the same guy sent me all of these beautiful flowers. Look at them TY! Plus there are more outside still." She gripped a few flowers to her chest and smiled from ear to ear. "This is so sweet. I think he really likes me." Spinning around, the love sick girl started humming her song again.
"So you've met the guy? He's not some creep?" Taeyong asked. He loved his friend dearly and couldn't stand the idea of her being hurt. "Minji? Hello? Earth to Minji," he said firmer and touched her arm.
"Not exactly but I can tell he's a nice guy. Really sweet," she said over her shoulder. "I really like him, TY. What if it's, ya know, meant to be? I've never felt like this before and I haven't even met him!"
"Minji, sweetie, you can't go around falling in love with any man that write you notes and sends you flowers," he said gently. As he perched on her desk, he knew she wasn't listening. She was far too gone for him to reach. "Just be careful. You spend so much time looking after us. I wish you'd stop and do it for yourself. I'm meeting a new friend later. Call me if you need anything."
Despite her humming and preoccupied mind, she heard her friend's concerns and made note of them in her head. "He just doesn't understand," she pouted to herself. "He doesn't know him like I do. He wouldn't hurt me. He wants to protect me and make me happy. Why shouldn't I be happy? I deserve it. I deserve him."
That night Minji showered and dressed for bed in her room. She sat at her vanity and brushed her hair. It was hard for her to take her eyes off of the flower bouquet on the corner. Taking the time to sort through and pick her favorite flowers may have take her most of the afternoon but it was worth it. The vase was filled with her favorite flower he sent her. A special gift that she could look and think about him.
As her head rested on her pillow she smiled softly. Her fingers traced the delicate petals of the perfect blooms. "Good night," she whispered. "I guess this is as close as I get to be to you. For now."
