Red Bull Mix Up- Mitch Marner Imagine

Summary: Mitch orders over a hundred cans of red bull but they accidentally get delivered to the wrong place. Whoops

Word count; 1,200

Authors note: No idea where this idea came from I was probs in work drinking a can of red bull. Can they sponsor me though? I feel like this would be something Mitch would really do too. I love that boy and his chaotic energy. I don’t know the dude or claim to this was just a random idea I had. Also not my photo I borrowed it from google.

Amelia opened the door, to a delivery man. “Hi, I have a delivery for Mitch Marner,” he said looking down at his clipboard. “Oh he’s next door,” she said trying to close her apartment door, but the delivery man Jerry” as his gold name said and he wasn’t letting her get away that easy, he had managed to wedge his foot in the door “He doesn’t seem to be in, so can we leave it with you?” he asked

I guess,” she sighed opening the door wider, just put it there she sighed signalling to a small space in her doorway. “Oh Miss your going to need a bit more space than that,”

“How much more?” she asked suspiciously

Fifteen minutes later Amelia was staring at twenty crates of every flavor of red bull which towered well above her and took up over half of her hallway. “how do I get myself in these situations?” Amelia sighed to herself.

Amelia didn’t know her neighbour very well. She didn’t know a lot about him at first, since he wasn’t at his apartment an awful lot. But when he was home Amelia knew she would hear his music, occasionally singing along, partying with his friends and playing video games. Most people would find it annoying but she didn’t mind. Mostly because he was hot and his friends were also super hot. Also whenever she tried to talk to him, she found herself stumbling over her words and embarrassing herself.

Her best friend was one one who had nicknamed him hockey sticks after seeing him carry a pile of hockey sticks into his apartment the day he had moved in. Not that they had been peeping through the peephole for the front door or anything ””I mean what does one guy need all those hockey sticks for right?” Cassidy asked stretching out onto her sofa.

”maybe he likes to make sure he’s safe keeps one in each room ,in case someone breaks in?”

”pft you know this apartment block is like fort knox, every time I come to your flat every week and security still quiz me every single time like i’m some sort of criminal,”

“You obviously have a suspicious looking face,”

”maybe he’s a hockey coach?”she suggested ignoring Amelia’s previous comment.

”yeah I guess, he looks a little young, but maybe, ” she said taking another piece of popcorn and throwing it into her mouth

She had later bumped into the mysterious hockey sticks. He was tall with brown haired guy who was even cuter close up with his bright blue eyes and an infectious smile, he wore a backwards red bull baseball cap . He had introduced himself as Mitch, she had awkwardly introduced herself as they got into the lift and made polite conversation until they got to the ground floor where he left for the parking garage and she left for the street.They had become friends since greeting each other in the hallway, having a quick chat about their day. They were no where near best friends.

Amelia spotted Mitch in the corridor, she ran after him “hey Mitch,”

“Oh hey,” he said turning around clearly surprises to see her.

“So, why do I have twenty crates of red bull in my hallway?”

“Shit what?” He said looking slighty startled dropping his sports bag by his front door.

“The delivery man couldn’t bring it to your flat because you weren’t in,”

“Oh no no no,” he groaned running his fingers through his hair, “They were meant to be delivering them to the rink, not here there must have been some mix up,” he groaned pulling his hat off and putting it back on again.

“Why do you have this much Red Bull anyway you know it’s bad for you right?” She asked “I’m there brand ambassador I get paid to drink the stuff and if it’s free so I’m gonna take it,”

“But all this,”

“I was giving it to the boys at work, they wanted us to try some new flavours,”

”You we're going to give kids red bull isn’t that a little irresponsible?”

”What?”

”the kids you coach?”

”I don't coach kids, well I do a little bit over summer, ” he rambled

“Oh I figured with all the hockey sticks you were carrying…”

”when did you see me carrying hockey sticks?”

“The day you moved in,” she said blushing and looking down at her feet.

“So the sticks are mine but I play in with team,”

“Oh cool, like for fun,”

“Are you serious?” He laughed but he stopped when he saw Amelia’s surprised face.

“Oh you are I thought you knew who I was,” he said looking sheepish ”I mean not in a cocky way,” he stuttered. “Help me carry a couple of these boxes to my apartment.l he asked. Giving her those cute puppy dog look that she could never say no to.

Amelia stepped into Mitch’s apartment. It was huge, much bigger than Amelia, but that wasn’t the main thing she noticed because all around was hockey memorabilia ”Wow, ” she gasped looking around.

Then she noticed the jersey on the wall. She recognized it as a Maple leafs jersey, because although she had never bothered with ice hockey, she had seen plenty of these jersey’s around Toronto. This leafs jersey was framed up on the wall, next to another framed jersey, a green one that said London Knights. It was the surname on both the jersey’s though that had caught her attention. Marner, wait what had Jackson from work has been saying about the maple leafs last week? Oh, “That kid Mitch Marner was pretty good, ”

No wait isn't that what the delivery man had called her cute neighbour? Mitch was it the same person?

”you don’t just play for a rec team to you?”

“No,” he answered slowly “I play for the maple leafs,”

Amelia dropped the crate only missing Mitch’s foot by a couple of inches. “Sorry sorry,”

“Its okay, I’m kind of use to that reaction,” he laughed, just at that moment his phone started to ring. ”Sorry, i’ll me back in a sec i have to take this , ”Mitch says signalling to his phone, ”make yourself at home,”

Amelia sank into his leather sofa, trying to take in this information, her neighbour the boy she has been crushing on for months was a star player for the Toronto maple Leafs?, the guy Jackson hadn’t been able to shut up about?. She looked around finally surveying the apartment properly. It was like most really, fairly messy hoodies and shoes scattered, there was an area in the counter of the apartment dedicated to gym equipment

“So Red Bull called and said they’ll send some more to the rink but they can’t pick up this stuff,”

”what are you going to with over a hundred can of red bull?”

“What are we going to do,” he correctes ”Drink it?” he suggested giving her a coy smile.
