Schizophrenia and schizo-spec disorders are neurodivergent

There is a shared diagnostic history between autism and schizophrenia. We are cousins, the same way that adhd and autism are cousins. We are in the same fights.

To any schizo-spec person out there feeling excluded - I think about this often. You belong in the neurodivergent community. Thank you for being here

#i totally appreciate the contributions of autism and adhd activists in the neurodivergent community #but the common messaging leaves out huge swaths of the community. a huge gain of the ND movement is building connections between experiences #we leave communities like intelectual disabilities. down syndrome. schizo spec. and many many others out #seemingly for the sake of simplifying our message #but bejng consumable is not a worthy trade off. let this be messy!! let this be comllicated!!#anyway. schizospec people i love and a #appreciate ur contributions #mad pride 🤝 neurodiversity
