I'm doing some filet crochet with a 1.5 hook and it's not nearly as fiddly as I expected it to be...

Now I am very tempted to do something with the smallest hook in my mother's collection - a 0.5 or maybe smaller - that she herself never used. It's such a shame none of the work of the original owner (mama's Oma, so my grand-grandmother) survived...

#we do have a kind of moth eaten tablecloth my grandmother made #its discoloured; visibly fixed; and overall in pretty rough shape (it has tassels all around and every single one is tangled and matted)#mama cant bear to part with it because oma put so much work into it #like its a big intricate thing that has been painstakingly mended several times
