“My dad will have to cut off all my hair.” It’s a silly thing to worry about when two days ago, Jinora’s dad and his siblings and Korra all nearly died. But it’s always been a lingering fear in the back of her mind. She wants the tattoos, and she’s ready for them - she knows she is. But that doesn’t erase the uneasy twist in her stomach at the idea of her hair being gone. “He will,” Kai acknowledges, “but it’ll totally be worth it when you see how awesome you look with those tattoos!” He pushes himself off the wall and walks over to Jinora, coming to a stop behind her. “Besides,” he says, “it’s just hair. It’ll grow back, if you want it to.”
