The glamour bts life of a middle aged on set tailor. how i feel when i make improvements to myself - don’t swipe if you hate needles 💉 i did the thing that people have strong polar feelings about. i met dr johnsen several weeks ago when i was hired to take headshots for @wavebeauties team. i had never seriously considered putting something in my face until speaking with him and also doing my own research on the procedure as well as on him personally. for as long as i can remember i’ve been super focused on my dark undereyes and i tried a million other things before going this route. i had volbella injected under my eyes which got rid of the shadow that was making my undereyes look dark (and sickly imo). since there was ample leftover in the syringe he asked if i wanted it anywhere else so i opted for a lil in cheeks so as to lift + reduce smile lines and i took his suggestion for a lil in my chin. it lasts around a year and the chemical is actually naturally occurring + found in your body already. i think it’s important to support body positivity in a totally realistic and transparent way because of the stigma that surrounds cosmetic procedures- people who are already uncomfortable or insecure about a physical feature don’t also need to be shamed for wanting to make a change to feel better about it. i posted about this on my story and already got a bunch of questions - pls def ask me all the questions and if you were already thinking of doing something, you can use my code “jennicamae” for a discount at wave ♡ will show a before/after soon (at Wave Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Laser Center) https://www.instagram.com/p/BoAa1YkgWfp/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1xh9977jqmz46
