Yes, we’re back! Welcome to yet another episode of AFTG Hot Takes, the show where I try my very hardest to piss off the fandom at large.

Next on the chopping block: Thea Muldani

Oh Thea. Where to start, honestly? Should we start with her unhealthy relationship with her college exy team? How she stood by and watched as her boyfriend was abused? Or how about we talk about how old Kevin was when they started dating?

Yeah, I think so too.

Correct me if I’m wrong, because I don’t want to be spreading false facts, but when Thea was in the Nest, Kev was still in high school. She wasn’t there his sophomore year of college (when he broke his hand) because she’d already graduated. That means, at the very least, that there is a four-year difference between the two of them. Wouldn’t be that big of a deal if they were older, you know?

But they aren’t older. If Kev was 19 when he broke his hand, then Thea was 23 at the youngest. If that age gap is correct (it could be larger, but most likely not smaller) then when Thea turned 18, Kevin was only 14.

Assuming Thea started college at 18 and our age gap is correct, then she has known Kevin since he was a freshman in high school.

I’m not sure when they started dating, but it’s reasonable to assume that it was before Kev enrolled at Edgar Allen. Even if they didn’t get together until his freshman year of college, there’s still a shit-ton of grooming going on.

I could also talk about how Thea defended EA at every turn, to the point where she blatantly ignored the abuse of her boyfriend. The abuse of a child.

Remember friends, silence = compliance. If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

But I get it, trauma does awful things to your brain and your perception, and the Ravens have trauma pouring out both ears. So, I’m not going to go there. I don’t need to go there, because I have more than enough ammo with Thea’s predatory behavior.

Moral of the story, Thea has known Kevin since she was an adult and he was 14, if not younger. With some of my other posts, I’ve said that if these are things you can ignore then good for you, I won’t fault you for it.

Not this.

If, somehow, you can excuse this in your head, I’d honestly love to hear how. Because I don’t get it.
