Finally watched Brotherhood of Blades 2. After watching both movies, my main thought is that Shen Lian is a dumbass. I spent 2 movies shouting at him to stop doing dumb shit. (Why are men so emotional???) Also, stop looking at women, you idiot. Definitely don't talk to them.

Why is Lei Jia Yin so funny to watch? That scene of him eating noodles had me dying.

Chang Chen had way more chemistry with Lei Jia Yin than with Yang Mi (which I am more than okay with because i love lei jia yin). I guess good acting speaks to good acting on a spiritual level. I don't think Yang Mi was (as) bad (as LSS). But, you know, different levels.

Shen Lian is never the smartest or the strongest in the room, but I have to give him credit for grit. It's what has kept him alive for 2 movies. He is the anti-Jiu Chen and watching him muck around cluelessly trying to figure shit out and not die is actually so entertaining.

Xin Zhi Lei is so beautiful. She looked super badass as the assassin. Too bad she didn't really get a story.

The real star of this movie is the black cat. It is the cutest and plays a crucial role at important moments. How did Shen Lian luck out to get an amazing cat like this?

Moral of the Story: You will be stabbed in the back (sometimes literally).
