Born into the noble Carradine family, Briony set out at a young age travelling with a musical and performing troupe. In her younger days she was actually an adventurer herself, although her expoilts are largely unsung they have been nevertheless of importance to the events taking shape in Farsmouth.

Finding her place at the esteemed historical society and becoming a mother of two have curbed her wanderlust for adventure, but her skills with cryptology and linguistics are highly useful to younger adventurers.

She is rumoured to be in a low-key marriage to a prince.

She still works a part-time job as a lounge singer on occasion when the mood takes her.
