Okay. But what if you were a goat and you lived on a farm, but you didn't really know that (or anything else) because you are a goat. And then one day this new thing was in your pasture (but you didn't know you were in a pasture because you have never been anywhere else) and you sniffed it to see what it was (food? shelter? something like the being that brings grain?) and all of a sudden you aren't in your body any more and this ? (light? goat? being? noise?) is in your brain telling you about the world and pouring more information into your skull than you would ever have learned in your little goat life. And you are bleating fear but then you start changing and now you are bleating (crying? screaming?) in pain and you open your eyes and you are missing your legs (they are still there you just only have two now and two new arms) and the being (light? angel? celestial creature?) is there and is giving you wings and a sword and a task to protect the world. And then it is gone and you are alone and your world has shifted and you don't understand your family any more and you can't go to the being that brings grain's (farmer. you know that now) home because you aren't like them, oh and also you are naked. And then you have to learn how to walk and talk and hide and wield a sword and fly and fight evil things that come through the new thing (it's a portal, you understand now) because they will kill your family and the farm and the whole world and sometimes the being that made you like this shows up and you can talk to them, but there is no one else like you and you are alone.
