Thoughts on the General Election Part 3 – Other Policy
Thoughts on the General Election Part 3 – Other Policy
Having won our fight for Brexit, many people now believe that UKIP’s work is done. But this is far from the truth. There are a good number of policy ideas that we put forward in 2015 that we will continue to fight for, and it’s telling that both the main parties have now adopted some of our policies. Combining health and social care was part of our 2015 manifesto and it’s interesting to see that…

❌ Esther McVey thinks it's 'radical' to keep 50% of our Foreign Aid budget to spend on schools and policing. ✅ UKIP would return *100%* of the £14 billion Foreign Aid budget to HM treasury to help our own citizens in our own country. #VoteUKIPhttps://t.co/uenBiqKDNl

I have voted and for Deborah Cairnes of UKIP. I didn't vote for a censorial sociopath, a socialist ideologue (unlike most Facebook hipsters out there smugly claiming who they voted for) or the numerous leftwing/liberal parties who blend into one another. Instead, I voted for a party who represent what this country truly needs. Whether it be on Brexit, immigration, the NHS, foreign aid, tax (corporation tax in particular), democratic reform, defence among many other issues, they represent what I feel should happen concerning such issues. Do I agree with everything they advocate? No, but no party is perfect and it's better to vote for a party you slightly disagree with than the Tories or Labour who I massively disagree with. All in all, some may claim it to be a wasted vote, but if it is, I'd rather it be a wasted one than an insincere one. As such, I happily voted for UKIP, and would recommend you do the same in the last few minutes you have left to you to vote, if you haven't done it already. Despite a potential Tory landslide tonight, I am at least happy to back the underdog in politics and send a message that the Tories are unfit for purpose. As Peter Hitchens said, the Conservatives need to be destroyed, and if us UKIP voters can help in that regard, I'm happy to have done so. So in short, I happily voted UKIP and would recommend that you do the same. After all, it can't get any worse. That is unless we have 5 more years of the Tories that is... #UKIP #GE2017 #VoteUKIP #Conservatives #Labour #Ivoted

Vote UKIP in Frimley Green, Deepcut and Mytchett
Vote UKIP in Frimley Green, Deepcut and Mytchett
I’m pleased to confirm that I will be standing for UKIP in the upcoming County Council Elections for the Frimley Green, Deepcut and Mytchett Division. Four years ago I came within 95 votes of winning and becoming UKIP’s first County Councillor in Surrey Heath and it’s clear that we are the only alternative to the Tories in Frimley Green, Deepcut and Mytchett. Over the last 4 years I’ve been…

Becoming more active again.
Recently I've been rather absent from social media, why I am not so sure. I seem to have ups and downs but now I am certainly picking back up again. The mere thought of sparking a debate over politics again on tumblr makes my heart race! There is nothing better than receiving anon hate, the very fact that they won't even show who they makes me laugh but when they continue to insult me I can't help but feel a little sorry for them. Of course I love replying in aggressive humorous ways, depending on my mood! There is once again a new dawn emerging in politics, for me and a few others it has already begun. People are starting to see UKIP in a new light, for me this is huge. Yea we have been sparking debate and setting the agenda over the last 2 years but now we have an MP. For me this has changed our general public perception, people now see us and think we are more credible than they once did. Obviously I have always thought we were credible but what this brings is people that weren't sure whether voting UKIP would be a waste, they now think it's a perfectly good option. For example if you vote conservative in the northern labour seats you'll get labour, vote labour in southern conservative seats and you'll get conservative. I digress. UKIP is now the only real challenger to labour up north, we will most likely beat the Torries into third, nine times of out ten. Also the same in reverse for southern seats. I couldn't be more proud of UKIP, couldn't be prouder to be a member and supporter. We have come so far as a party in such a small space of time. It's our rapid growth that has stunned Westminster, they weren't ready for this and certainly didn't see it coming this quickly. I like to always be optimistic whatever the situation but I would say that UKIP are on course to get at least 18 MPs. If we win Rochester and Strood it will trigger more defections to UKIP and that means more support from all areas of the political life. UKIP is here, here to stay.

This goes without saying, but please do it anyway, especially if you're one of those young people complaining about the Tories & #Brexit. Only you can change this if you want to. Thoughts on the Tory Council Tax U-Turn
Thoughts on the Tory Council Tax U-Turn
After a farcical series of delays, David Hodge and Tory led Surrey County Council performed a last-minute U-turn and proposed a 5% rise in Council Tax for 2017 rather than the much-publicised 15%. There are several possible reasons for this; Was it a ruse to soften the blow of a 5% rise that was planned all along? With roughly a third of Tory County Councillors either deselected or standing down…

UKIP take Challenge to Conservatives in Council Tax Battle
UKIP take Challenge to Conservatives in Council Tax Battle
Party Leader’s Special Assistant Roger Bird to stand against “the real villain” Cllr David Hodge. UKIP have thrown down the gauntlet in the council tax row engulfing Surrey by announcing a senior figure will be standing in Warlingham against Conservative council leader David Hodge. Roger Bird, the Special Assistant to UKIP leader Paul Nuttall MEP and the former Chairman of UKIP’s South East…
