故人は2008年頃よりストリート写真を撮り始め、東京の都市を中心に精力的に撮影活動を継続。
光と影、喫煙シーン等を好み多くの傑作を残す。
また近年はダミーブックの制作にも取り組み、よりストーリー性のある写真表現にも注力していた。
2017年VoidTokyo 設立メンバー、中心人物として最後まで活動。
本展は彼の代表的な写真15点を展示し、故人を偲び、謹んで哀悼の意を込めて開催するものです。 Hiroki Fujitani (1964-2022) began taking street photographs in 2008. From then on, he was an energetic photographer of the Tokyo urban area. Fujitani loved, among other subjects, light, shadow, and scenes with smokers. He left behind many masterpieces. In recent years, he began to produce dummy books with a focus on photographic expression and narrative feel. In 2017, Fujitani became a founding member of VoidTokyo, where he remained until the end of his career.
