The way Ed's crew continued to care for each other despite their hostile environment. Jim telling the story of Pinocchio to Fang. Frenchie and Fang comforting Izzy. Izzy (of all people!) calling out the toxicity and suggesting they talk it through. Frenchie choosing not to kill Izzy even though it put his life at risk. Jim and Archie amputating Izzy's leg. Jim refusing to kill Archie. That's Stede's influence! He said it doesn't have to be like this!

The thing is that they were both wrong. Crowley wouldn't be happy in Alpha Centuri. Aziraphale won't be happy in heaven - he wouldn't have been even if Crowley did join him. They belong on earth, with humans and human things. Wine and sushi and books and cars and plants and coffee and all other earthly pleasures. They've spent the last 6000 years on earth. It's their home. It's the only place their love can flourish.

Iguazu: Everyone, therapy’s been going really well for me and I’m feeling a lot less angry. I want to turn my life around 180 degrees. And to reflect that, I’m renaming my AC.

Inasmuch as the "Werserians eventually rose to become just as rich and idle as any other noble house after Abelard passed" is kind of a good ending dynastic establishment-wise, I think Cas would be personally deeply distressed at that outcome for them. The "I'm a noble because my great-great-great-great-grandfather held Saint Drusus' third cousin's grox's toilet paper once"-style hereditary nobility isn't a thing on her homeworld (you actually have to be competent at something) so she genuinely liked that Abelard had like, actual job experience that he got ennobled for. I don't think she'd ever demote the family in her lifetime, out of affection for Abelard alone, but I do think she'd try her hardest to subtly-not-so-subtly bar any Werserian scions from any of the cushy jobs until they hit their 60s at least.

Small sketch dump of some ideas from Humans-B-Gone's discord. Sophodra's second job (at the catgirl cafe) and Grandma Vi Who Changes Her Name Every Other Week And Teaches The Young Flies How To Make Napalm At Home (parents hate her but she is ungodly difficult to track down after the bee equivalent of fifty years running from the ants)

//Literally everything I have posted is made 30% funnier if you imagine literally any other member of Lo's social circle is somehow involved or seeing this shit play out.

One of the most important themes of OFMD is that queer love is life-affirming. It's about chosen family. It's about embracing the parts of yourself that others have mocked and rejected. It's about living life on your own terms. It's about choosing to love wholeheartedly, and allowing yourself to receive the love you were told you didn't deserve.

Do you think in season 3 we'll have a parallel to the bookshop burning where Aziraphale thinks Crowley is dead?

i realllly feel like gale is gonna die in scream 6 and? idk how to feel abt it?
on the one hand i could probably get behind it as long as it's a well-written and well-executed death. i'm also well aware ms. cox has been open abt wanting gale killed off in the past. the franchise is introducing and focusing more on new characters, and given that it's 26 yrs old i'm not opposed to this, and potentially the removal of gale gives them more room to do so.
...on the other hand i actually think dewey being out of the picture now is an opportunity to give gale's character other things to do. ngl i have never been fond of the "on-again-off-again," deal with gale and dewey. that got annoying pretty fast. would be interested to see the impact grief has on her character tho but! fuck! once again it is such a waste gale never learned her phone call doomed dewey?? i am so crabby abt this. if amber had bragged abt that (why?? didn't she? she's such a gd troll i blame the writing, she totally should've bragged abt this) it could've drastically changed the fight in scream 5 and would've added to the ANGST gale undoubtedly has come scream 6. presumably she will never learn what a badly timed phone call that was, since the only 2 ppl who knew that are dead.
buuuut idk. it would be interesting to see her get a subplot that doesn't revolve around the aforementioned romance and i really don't want to see her killed off *just* bc her love interest was.
