Scents of Overwatch: Support

For one of the more ambitious projects as tackled by Scent of a Warden, I have decided to make a start on Scents of Overwatch. These will be coming out in four blocks, for each of the four ‘classes’ available to play in game. First up, Support.

Mercy

Angela Zeigler - pacifist and optimist, strong in her convictions, dedicated to keeping people whole. She is fresh linen and white musk with notes of lemon, bergamot and spring rain.

Lucio

Guerilla musician standing for freedom, always on the move, controlling the battlefield with a subwoofer and a smile. He is starfruit, cut grass and ginger lily with a hint of black pepper.

Zenyatta

Omnic construction embracing spiritual tranquility without sacrificing the occasional necessity of violence. He is mountain air, steel and green tea underscored with cajeput.

Ana

Ana Amari is the desert shadow, the jackal on the sidelines, ensuring the safety of her people by any means necessary. She is stephanotis, gunpowder and frankincense with hints of rosewood.

Moira

Advanced black market science with a hint of something fey and eldritch; pushing the boundaries of morality to get the job done. She is labdanum, dragon’s blood resin and oakmoss with notes of valerian and just a hint of rose.

Brigitte

Protective and chivalrous, following in the footsteps of a brilliant engineer and a brilliant warrior to be the shield of those around her. She is fresh hay, orange, lemon, raspberry with hints of cider and sweet rum, overlaid with steel.

These are currently available at Scent of a Warden, though more will come over the next few days and there are plans for specific packs, for those looking for a bargain.

Lilé shifted Illarion on her hip as she carried him to the throne room. As he vocalised and pointed to various things, she smiled and encouraged him, pressing a kiss to the top of his head. “Yes! You’re such a good boy.” Gently, the queen bounced him as she walked. “Shall we say hello to your da?” Lilé nodded towards passing nymphs, and when she entered the throne room, Illarion immediately called out to his father, squirming excitedly, hands stretched towards Valerian.

Illarion was already six months old, his body strong, and his mind swift. He’d inherited the same CHARM that Aphrodite had graced her children with, and his mother’s fey genes only added to the baby’s impressive inheritance. Valerian, though deep in conversation with Layel, looked up at the familiar sounds of mother and son, his seriousness vanishing at the sight of them both.

Layel tactfully retreated, murmuring a greeting at Lile before flying off.

Valerian took their son, resting him on his knee. He was still a little apprehensive about caring for a child, especially his, but he was learning. While the baby happily babbled away, he turned to Lile.

“The vampires have found the remaining females. It’s now only a matter of time before they’re returned.”

Most of the females had been recovered after the dragons’ attack ( one that happened shortly before Lile’s arrival ), but there were a handful of stubborn female nymphs who refused to return because they believed that they’d been abandoned. But for the sake of his people, he wanted them all back, if only to avoid any nymphs weakening.

Favourite veg: Sweet potato

Favourite season: Spring and autumn( the equinoxes). I like the change. Summer is nice, but not enough happens and I get a bit bored.

Favourite book: Throne of glass, ACOMAF and the iron fey series.

Favourite flower: oooh, too many! I’m a botany freak, but if held at gun point, I’d probably say Valerian or Belladonna( it has a dark beauty I just love).

Favourite scent: That strange tang before a thunder storm, lavender and Nag Champa inscence.

Favourite colour: Green

Favourite animal: Dragons are my life and yes I know they don’t exist…or do they? ;)

Coffee, tea or hot chocolate: Tea. Milky or herbal, I luv um both!

Cat/dog: Cat

Favourite fictional characters: Manon blackbeak, Dorian Haviliard, Azriel, Ayla( earths children) and Alexandra( the swan kingdom).

Number of blankets I sleep with: A duvet all year round. A blanket is too light.

Dream trip: Travelling round all the folk and pagan festivals in England and maybe Germany( I’ve heard there’s some good ones there?)
