I’m going in chronological order and am only up to Dec 2010, so I haven’t started on MLAnderson, Whispered Faith, and so on yet. I still need to see if Just Another Fool is on the Wayback Machine, and I need to track down the tweets and blog posts of The Big Ones.

My fave obscure entries are Dreams In Darkness and Beyond the Neon. I think my main bias to Neon is that the main character reminds me of one of my OCs terribly, and so I could watch him do anything ever. Idrk if it’s Good by normal definitions, I’m just like. Haha this is what Blorbo from My Brain would also do.

My least favorites are Seeking Truth, and I really hope compileTRUTH picks up soon, cuz I like the character Cairo but the formatting of the show is difficult for me to engage with.

Canis Inferorum

Gin could easily identify omens, and whatever demon was causing them made sure she’d notice. Years of hunting honed in her skill of using that sixth sense, and knowing the difference between a storm passing through, and one that was meant just for her.

The phrase, When it rains, it pours, is more than just a proverb for her.

At this point, she wasn’t worried about freaking Tony out with any kind of sigils or salt lines, but at this point, it couldn’t hurt to be prepared. However, up until now, she didn’t even hint at the firepower she had in her arsenal. Let alone that she could fight. When she saw how restless the horses were, just in the way they acted, she knew just what she was dealing with. She’s hunted these things from the start--hunters came to her for help with one of the most relentless monsters in existence,,

Hellhounds.

During the night, just as they were getting ready for bed, there was a loud squeal from one of her horses outside in the field, that made even her skin crawl, and her blood run cold. But then the next sound that filled her ears ignited a fire in her--the growl of one of those beasts, and a yelp--probably from getting railed by one of the horses out there. Gin dropped what she had in her hands on the bed and darted for her closet, one she rarely opened in front of Tony. Not that he’d care, but it was unexpected of her (when they knew each other previously, she hated guns). Now she was armed to the teeth. And for good damn reason.

“Stay in here.” She told him as she loaded a twelve gauge with bullets filled with goofer dust, a repellant for hounds, and pulled her demon knife from the holster beside her bed, on the side she slept that was attached to the nightstand. Practically jumping into her boots, she ran out for the back door.
