Kinda weird how Londra let Gerard become the de facto leader of Far Zenith 🤔

I guess it is pretty clearly he distrusts Far Zenith given his fear of betrayal, so maybe he didn't want to risk being backstabbed by his equals (even if he believes they are inferior to him intellectually/strategically, they undeniably have the power to fight back and question him that the Quen don't have) and/or he was convinced they were going to fail so he tried to lay low so he could make his escape without being noticed once it came down to it?
