just because someone puts a lot of time and effort and skill into smth doesnt mean that its devoid of any sort of criticism
#like oh dont criticise this the author/writer/artists put a lot of work into it#okay idgaf#now before my words get misconstructed#im not talking about baseless hate and bullying#i am talking about criticism#like valid criticism and sometimes criticism isnt going to be nice#like my favourite example#given#did akihiko have to SA haruki? no it truly added nothing to the plot#they could have fist fought#they could have had CONSENSUAL sex wherein akihiko uses haruki and haruki lets himself be used#there was no need for the SA this is VALID CRITICISM#next#uenoyama the main character simply did not get a character arc in the same story where even the most background of background characters got#like ugetsu got a conclusive and satisfying character arc#mafuyu got one too#but uenoyama simply didnt get shit#and the development of mafuyama d relationship was left stagnant and unresolved till the last chapter where we got a timeskip#a timeskip and a everyone lives happily ever after#like thanks what do i do with this#like obvs im thankful for the story and im thankful that they released it and out time and effort into it#but that doesnt make it devoid of criticism sorry#like the above points i made arent bullying or baseless accusations or whatever#they are criticism of the story that i read#im tired of people blindly consuming media and not putting any type of thought into it truly#like even 19 days has things that i personally dislikes and could criticise
