You ever get into a fandom and realize that people probably thought you’d been into it for years because I only know Lackadaisy from the pilot and yet I have been into mafia/20s themed stuff and cat people since forever to the point that at like 12 I tried to use one of those make your own comic things to make a comic about a werecat mafia.

What's Your Thoughts About AU Idea About Wendip Mafia Couple AU where Wendy is like Bonnie and Her Husband Dipper is like Clyde (Aged Up cause IDK) also Happy Valentine's Day (I Mean No One Made This AU but I'm Pretty Sure Someone will make This Kinda AU)
I have read a few along these lines. A couple set during the prohibition era with the Mystery Shack being a speakeasy and with Wendy being a singer/protection working for Stan. With the twins moving in with Stan after something happening to their parents.
Artist Tybay drew and also (I think) wrote a version of the Roaring 20's au.
Another variant of this trope is Neon Stars by Dusk4224. It's a cyber punk variant where Wendy is a private investigator hired by Preston Northwest to find and return his "kidnapped" daughter. She tracked her down to The Shooting Star, a bar owned by the Pines twins, relatives of the mob boss known only as Mr. Mystery. When she finds her she is in the company of one of the owners/managers (Mabel) and it was obvious that she was free to leave whenever she wanted. While observing the couple she is approached by the other twin.

This is why Hayashi doesn’t use swords. He’s a clumsy basket of wrath.
Btw, Fun Fact: In the trailers, Hayashi uses a sword (which never appears in the full game). You can the sword and sounds effects for it in the game files.
