Weird parallel that came to my mind: "bon" from The Walten Files reminds me of BOB from Twin Peaks.
* SPOILERS AHEAD for Twin Peaks and The Walten Files *
1. Both of them are violent and evil spirits.
2. Both of them are bloodthirsty and kill. BOB kills humans, because he feeds on garmonbozia (the sadness and pain of people). "bon" we don't know the reason(s) why he kills yet or who he really is. Does "bon" want to make the characters beautiful? Is it revenge? We know "bon" gives gifts though, just like the Puppet from FNAF.
3. Speaking of gifts... Its interesting that in Twin Peaks, BOB can only be seen by "the gifted and the damned". When it comes to The Walten Files, Susan Woodings was certainly damned as she met "bon" in Wonderland, who brutally attacked her and stuffed her body into the Banny animatronic.
4. Both of them possess a vessel. "bon" possesses Bon the animatronic. BOB possesses Leland Palmer.
Also, if the theory that "bon" kills other characters because they aren't Sophie is correct then thats another common thing between the two spirits, as BOB and "bon" are obsessed with a specific female character. BOB with Laura Palmer and "bon" with Sophie Walten. However, that stands if the above observation is correct.
5. "bon" and BOB are tied to metaphysical locations, which function as a kind of Limbo. BOB with the Red Room, which is located inside a forest, and convenience store. "bon" with the Wonderland (foggy forest aesthetic).
6. Finally, the reason that made me write this post is that their names are pretty similar. Coincidence? I don't know.
