Ace Characters in Comics: Shen

Shen, a main character of the comic book series The Last Session, is aromantic and asexual.

The Last Session (2021-2022) is a DnD adventure comic about friends learning to cope with all the changes that come from growing up, created by Jasmine Walls @mythjae-blog, Dozerdraws @littledozerdraws, Micah Myers, and published by Mad Cave Studios @madcavestudios.

The Last Session was nominated for YALSA's 2023 Great Graphic Novels for Teens and was named one of NYPL's 2022 Best Books for Teens.

ROLL FOR INITIATIVE Jay, Lana, Drew, Walter, and Shen began playing Dice & Deathtraps in high school. Now dealing with college and all the twists and turns of their lives, their weekly game has been a wonderful constant. But, as college graduation looms and it feels like their lives are all moving down very different paths, Lana’s thrilled to finally finally complete the party’s unfinished original campaign. But when Jay’s partner Cassandra joins the game, Lana refuses to let her inexperience ruin the best part of her week! But in the end, that may be Lana and the party’s undoing…

Z-Heroes is also on Instagram (that's where I actually post the most). However, the page is in French... It's @z.heroes.bd. Translating this all is quite hard, I have to earase the speech bubbles and type the translated text as well as make sure that it fits into it ! Working through computers is so unconfortable to me, I'm a crayon-paper type of person, I would be so much more efficient if I could work the same way I do for the French version !

Anyway, if you do read it, please let me know, it will actually motivate me to translate the rest of the comic !

My partner and I had a wonderful and very funny interaction between our characters Jacques (mine, the bird) and his ( @multi-lefaiye ) Eric (the dog).  The other characters belong to other people in the campaign (sorry I don’t have anyone else’s tumblr) so here’s their names for each of them! Badger- Isadore Flame Point Cat- Wendy  Grey Cat- Hyacinth Hamster- Clovis (NPC; played by DM) I love all of the relations all of these characters have build and yes, my partner and I’s character’s do have feelings for each other, but neither of them realize it. Gay little idiots <3

A little absurd situation from the last session. Another funny context bit is that the other player is very familiar with how fast damage dealt to Cayden disappears because I'm an absolute pain to get rid of when we have PvPs.

I let the other player know maybe a little too harshly idk I'm starting to regret drawing this because it can be interpreted as rubbing it in but I just thought it would be funny to draw and started doubting when I already almost finished... I hope it's gonna be received well by them...
