not watcher making their content exclusively subscription model while their fellow buzzfeed graduates the try guys have increasingly made their content diverse and accessible

#i dont even stan try guys that much i just think theyre a well run content house #i actually probably like watcher's content more but they're tanking their rep with this move #try guys have been really smart about what content is paylocked (basically only behind the scenes stuff that only superfans want anyway)#and monetizing perks like input on video topics #that one especially is smart because it makes the people contributing cash feel heard while also ensuring theyre making content people watc #it's giving 'react channel trying to trademark the word react' vibes
