The Gokyo Renjo La Pass Trek begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a charming Sherpa village nestled in the mountains. The trek takes us through a steep river valley, leading us to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Khumbu Region. This settlement offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and serves as a perfect resting point to acclimatize to the altitude. During our rest day in Namche, we have the opportunity to explore nearby villages such as Kunde and Khumjung, where the Himalayan Trust has established a school and hospital. Continuing our journey, we head north along the DudhKosi valley towards the Gokyo Valley Lakes. The picturesque landscape is adorned with majestic peaks, and our comfortable lodge is situated by the shores of the third lake, providing a truly breathtaking experience.

The Gokyo Renjo La Pass Trek offers a unique and breathtaking experience as we ascend to Renjo La Pass and then descend into the tranquil Thame Valley. Along the way, we pass through charming Sherpa Villages before returning to Namche and eventually catching our flight from Lukla. After the trek, there will be ample time to explore the mysteries of Kathmandu and find souvenirs before heading back home.
