Are there any Hester headcanons you've been thinking about lately? (She is so important)

ALWAYS

Basically she transitions and then immediately goes back to her regular duties as a servant (or minister depending on route/timing!) and copes with nerves about transitioning by just. Being exactly the same as always

However, there is ONE small change she makes after transitioning and that is leaning a bit more into her soft side when she’s with trusted friends

She lets Bernie teach her how to embroider and knit and do crafts for the beauty/fun of them, not just for purposes like clothes mending

She becomes more interested in the opera and spends more time listening to Dorothea sing than ever before

She accepts fashion advice from both Dorothea and Petra, but only sometimes—because she is absolutely not going to stop wearing so much black

And she finds that she really, really loves ballroom style dancing…but very few people know that
