#yanno I love a slow burn as much as the next guy#but it’s so funny to me that I know what this template looks like#the characters will tip toe around each other and lowkey touch hands for 45% of the book#then they kiss#then they do everything but fuck each other#and thennnnnnn when you’ve reached the absolute end of the book they fuck#and it’s the most subpar written sex scene I’ve ever read#and I’m incredibly disappointed that I got all the way here and the sex was 3/10 at best smh#too quick#not enough dialogue#too much filler descriptors of the goddamn room and the carpet#boring boring boring#I complain but I don’t sit down and write so I should really shut up
