trying something new (read: far more than i usually do)

did not only a mini thumbnail sketch (i never ever do this) but also one of those.... idk. this sort of, color values test people do sometimes? basically sort of planning how i want the shading to go..?

um yeah a moment of seiga is shocking (lol) tojiko with a little visit at some point in those 1000+ years

when i said i was writing tojinyan fanfiction to cure me i ended up reading 81 pages of the tao te ching as annotated by seiga because a quirky joke visual novel fangame has that.

^ actually, im going to think about this when i see flowers now.

giving value to items is what makes them desired by thieves, i do have a large attachment to material objects, not out of vanity or to be prideful in what others dont have, but moreso because i love to collect things and have a hard time letting things go. my items mean things to me, that they do not mean to other people. by putting them on a higher pedestal, than the reality, it can make things in life become far more devestating to deal with. even if its not thievery, things like an object breaking or being unsalvagable can happen.

ok the seiga annotations thing like yeah kind of funny silly but its also helping me get more of a grasp on things being said (not that its blindly follow duh) because well i like metaphors and prose and stuff in short poetry but usually i cant always grasp what is being said myself so its kind of helpful

that being said im going to look into it more. ya know sources that arent a 1 dollar touhou vn.

i feel smart

also for my drawings, i want to get better at coloring, since it is my favorite part of drawing. i feel like i rely on color picking far too much, i want to try out new things and more dynamic colors and lighting

sadly i think my unfinished tojinyan piece would have been good at that, but i dont want to work ont hat drawing anymore,,,

lately ive been loving the idea of mikonyan... i think theyd just end up bringing out each others worst sides and i think thats very sexy of them <3 also i have this little hc that seiga created miko’s new human form off of miko’s very detailed instructions and like imagine how romantic that is... to know your lovers body entirely, to have created its tiny intricacies and carefully sculpted it to be as beautiful as possible, to be able to gift her a body that truly reflects her.... its so fuckin romantic

#like i dont think itd be a healthy or fluffy relationship #i think that miko and seigas relationship is rather strained #in that miko disagrees morally with seigas practices whilst seiga sorta toys with miko like a cat #i have this au plotbunny sorta thing wherein seiga and tojiko decide to betray miko and turn her into a jiang shi #which is because i like tojinyan a lot too lol #but anyway what im saying is that miko must have trusted seiga a lot and i wonder if that was tough for her considering her job #and considering seigas untrustiness... she must have loved miko a lot

I need to finish this ask meme :3)|-

- How I feel about this character: Tojiko is great! I used not to think much about her, but she’s grown on me over time. Strong independant ghost woman \o/ Her design is also one of my favs from TD, with Miko’s and Seiga’s.

- All the people I ship romantically with this character: Seiga! And poly futomikotoji.

- My non-romantic OTP for this character: I see her as a loner and someone who doesn’t easily trust people outside of the taoist circle, so... sadly I don’t have a lot of friendships for her. Platonic mikotoji is great though. I feel like out of all the taoists, they’d have the closest link and understand each other the best, whether you go the romantic route or not.

- My unpopular opinion about this character: Really not a fan of the shy helpless Tojiko I see pretty often in her ships... Give me a strong, loving Tojiko who freely speaks her mind or give me nothing!

- One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Not much beside the usual “please appear again in one of the print works”

- My OTP: Always tojinyan

- My OT3: Poly taoists!!
