Archie was really starting to give up and I could see his mood change from his usual happy self to down and silent and I hated it. Then it clicked, Valerie. She was one of my closest friends and one hell of a talented girl so I asked her for help and thanks to my lucky stars she agreed on helping him. And so Archie opened up again and became his usual self again and I was more than pleased. I loved Archie with all my heart and I trusted him with my life but lately we’ve been drifting apart. He started spending more and more time with Valerie and dodging our plans to hang out with her. I understood she knew a lot about music and I didn’t, but as needy as it sounds I needed him for myself. My mom’s cancer had now spread through her whole body and there was no change of curing it anymore.
