hands evenly clasped at the arch of his spine, the grand admiral bestowed a sharp nod to the dark monolith which had swept onto his bridge.     ❝  lord vader.  ❞     though he harbored some distaste for a handful of the dark lord’s methods, ones which would likely eventually bring the being’s downfall, he held a respect for his general competency.   the man hardly suffered fools, those without merit to an even lesser degree, and that aspect was one he desired to propagate throughout the empire.   that, perhaps, coupled with vader’s particular prowess in combat, most led to his suspicions.  yet, now was not the time to pry, the bright flashes of massive bolts reflecting through the bridge’s viewports.     ❝  i was not informed that you would be joining the task force.   do you intend to your forces to bolster the planetside invasion?  ❞
