I decided to take the Exile Tribe Favorites Survey (shhh, you can take it early if you want, @elenilote, I have no impulse control - yes, I know, the conclusion isn't very good) to get a tester in there and make sure everything worked. I also couldn't figure out how to count the number of questions without a result in there - the end answer is 87 questions, but a lot of them are skippable. The only questions that cannot be skipped are "Do you want to take this survey?" before almost every survey because that determines where you go next.

Shit, that was difficult. In places, the favorite was easy, but the top 3/5/15 was difficult as hell.

For the big boy survey, I really wanted to set expectations and - can you tell I've actually done a psychological research survey before? Can you tell I've spent hours trying to make sure my survey description (and survey contents) make it through the Institutional Review Board at the university I was attending?

Okay, admittedly, only 8 responses and limited to people who have access to my blog, but the fact that NAOTO is THE most popular member in the Exile Tribe survey right now amuses me. Only six people have gotten 5+ votes in any member poll.

For five votes, we have Alan in the GENE Top 3 poll; RIKU and Kazuma in the Vocalist Top 5; Elly in Rapper Top 5; and NAOTO in the JSB3 Top 3, Founding Exile Top 5, Leaders Top 3 and Overall Top 15.

For six votes, we have NAOTO in the Top 15 Performers.

And then, for the single highest vote count in any poll so far, we have a whopping 8 votes, so 8/8 responses, for YamaSho in Top 15 Performers.

Because, man, that question of 'What songs have you actually heard?' would be so useful here because I'm sitting here, looking at the numbers, and - I'm really wondering. Like. Every post Round&Round song except VIP got 9 or more votes and VIP you had to look for.

God, my brain's going back to the idea of one, all inclusive RMPG survey run during May to have the results ready by June.

Next time, I want to ask what songs people have actually heard from the albums - the singles do significantly better in the polls and while logically you pick your best songs to advertise, I wanna see how often people are going past the singles

Someone, please, tell me I'm not gonna do any qualitative data and I'm just gonna stick to quantitative because numbers are easy and multiple choices questions are easy and short answer/long answer questions are more likely to get skipped anyway because they take more time.

Even if I'm VERY CURIOUS as to what words people would use to describe RMPG and each individual member and shit, I am NOT going to gather qualitative data. We're sticking to quantitative.

The desire, the BURNING DESIRE, to make a RMPG mbr popularity survey (in different configurations so non-Kazuma and Hokuto mbrs occasionally have a chance (including one which is just "Excluding Kazuma and Hokuto, who's your favorite?") is killing me.

I've got, like... so many ideas. So many.

I am adding buttons for skipping over entire subgroups (so skip Founding Exile; skip Jr.Exile; skip Neo Exile), as well as the options to skip over subgroup questions and position questions.

Man, this survey is gonna need Tested to make sure every skip is working correctly.

I am also specifying for Top X that it should include favorite member. It is favorite member plus X-1 additional members, if there are that many. Favorite member should carry through.

Only two responses to the member survey so far, but Kenta is currently the most popular member! Well done, buddy!

By the way, the Data Nerd has found its way out of its cell and is now putting together a survey for favorite songs.
