According to en estimation around 11.5 lakhs students are studying in the PU colleges across the state. It is over 30 lakh students in primary and secondary schools.

In Karnataka, the Karnataka Text Book Society, a subsidiary of the Department of Public Instruction has been given the responsibility of preparing and publishing the textbooks for the classes between I and X (SSLC). The society is headed by a senior Karnataka Education Service (KES) officer.

Types Of Machine Learning.

What are the MAIN TYPES of Machine Learning? Machine learning can be divided into two categories: unsupervised and supervised.

What is SUPERVISED LEARNING? This method basically teaches machines by following their example.

Systems are exposed to large quantities of labeled data during training for supervised learning. This includes images of handwritten figures that have been annotated to identify which number they correspond to. A sufficient number of examples would allow supervised-learning systems to learn to recognize clusters of pixels or shapes that are associated with each number. They could eventually recognize handwritten numbers and be able to distinguish between numbers 9 and 4, 6 and 8, and 8.

Training these systems requires a lot of data. Some systems may need to be exposed to millions to learn a task.

The datasets required to train these systems are vast. Google's Open Images Dataset has about 9 million images. YouTube-8M links to 7 million videos. ImageNet, which was one of the first databases of its kind, has more than 14,000,000 categorized images. Facebook announced that it has compiled 3.5 Billion images, making them publicly accessible on Instagram. Each image was labeled with hashtags. One billion photos were used to train an image recognition system. This resulted in an 85.4% accuracy on ImageNet's benchmark.
