"I don't get fermentin' - heck I barely understand it in terms of alcohol. Like, ya need a special sorta minibug that eats sugar and makes alcohol, yeah? Something like that.

But then ya get stuff like natto or century eggs or fermented fish or cheese or yogurt and like...are they not gone off? Ya supposed ta eat it?? Of course its all according to taste, but it a lot of them smells like something went off fa me. People seem ta be able to eat it without throwing up or dying, so there must be something there I'm not getting."
