There is a show called victorious in which people hate the female main character called Tori and they say that she deserves to be bullied by Jade (another character).

The fandom always changes and twists the events of the show to victim blame Tori and make her the villain.

This situation really reminds me of Marinette salters that defend Chloe saying that is Marinette job to help Chloe 😒. The fandom really likes to defend villains and victim blame the actual victims.

It's fine to like a character that is a villain (for example i love Wanda) as long as you acknowledge that they are bad people.

Or in high school musical in which people say that Sharpay was actually a good person and Troy and Gabriella were the villains😒.

I didn't watch Victorious although I am familiar with the show but as someone who didn't watch i can't say anything about it. All I know is that Jade and whatever her bf's name was had a very toxic relationship, and that the guy who wrote Nickelodeon shows was a creep towards all teenagers, especially young girls, and that actors were treated horribly there.

With Wanda it's true she's beautiful and amazing and powerful and I adore her but I don't support her villain arc and I don't see her a role model. She is a woman who's life was ruined and who kills people because of it, she isn't someone we should look up to. But she is cool and that is all I think of her. I love how they wrote her and I thinks she's cool.

And for High School Musical I don't think Sharpay was evil but neither were Troy and Gabriella. That's a different story. Troy and Gabriella didn't practice and took the applause while Sharpay practiced and was professional only for someone else to take her place. She had a reason to get angry and she wasn't exactly evil, only bitchy, but that doesn't mean that Troy and Gabriella were bad people - "T and G are good people who succeeded without trying too much" and "Sharpay wasn't evil, I would get angry too" can coexist (I was more annoyed with their friends, especially Chad because he was jealous, than Sharpay btw, she was iconic).

The problem here is that even when villain has a good motive but does bad things - like Chloé being abused by her mother - that doesn't mean Marinette is a bad person for being her enemy. If Marinette made fun of the way Audrey is treating Chloé that would make Marinette a bad person. Just because a villain has a motive that people sympathise with doesn't make the hero a bad person for not being friends with them. Bad people can have a tragic life and we can feel sorry for them but we can't blame good people for the bad things they do. Just like one time I had online argument and this dude told me "you wrote 'don't come at me' and that's why people come at you" and I said "that's not a valid reason that's just an excuse" and he never replied to that lol.

And science, yeah, there will ALWAYS be someone who will use good inventions for something bad unfortunately but that doesn't mean we should stop inventing and stop making new things.
